The technical summit gathered more than 50 customers. Among them there were architects, designers and other professionals from consulting, precasting and construction companies. The summit was held in Sofitel Hotel Al Khobar Al Corniche and at the end of event the participants enjoyed a buffet dinner served by the hotel.
The topic of thermal insulation is a so called “hot potato” currently in the Middle East. The technical requirements of construction are becoming more and more strict, and often include the insulation as a mandatory requisite. At the same time, many local designers and construction companies are not yet very familiar with different insulation methods. The technical presentations awoke great interest and many questions arose. After the presentations the experts of Peikko and Saveto formed a panel answering the participants’ questions. The summit also included open discussion in smaller groups.
As this event was especially satisfactory Peikko has a strong interest to develop this concept and organise similar events in other cities in Saudi Arabia as well.
